Legal Experience

Peter Sarlas is a solicitor within the estate planning and family law team. He specialises in drafting all estate planning documents, from simple wills to more complex structures such as testamentary trusts or wills involving assets located both in Australia and overseas. He has extensive experience in providing comprehensive legal advice in family provision matters and disputes about the interpretation of wills. Peter Sarlas helps his clients to prepare their wills in a way that protects the beneficiaries and minimise the risk of potential family disputes.

In addition to his expertise in the estate planning area of law, he has extensive experience in family law and he is able to provide the best advice tailored to the client’s unique situation. His family law services include preparation of binding financial agreements, property settlement, child support and parenting agreements. He is well-trained in out of court dispute resolution such as mediation and negotiation.

Peter Sarlas is also a public notary and member of the Society of Notaries in NSW since April 2023. As a public notary he offers a wide range of services, such as certifying true copies of legal documents for use overseas, witnessing signatures of individuals to documents and authenticating status and transactions for corporations and businesses.
